🗓️ Important Dates

  • Exam Date: Sunday, 8 February 2026

  • Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen–Paper Based)

  • Notification Release: Expected Soon (November 2025)

  • Online Application Start: To be announced on ctet.nic.in

  • Last Date to Apply: Will be mentioned in the notification

  • Admit Card Download: 2 weeks before the exam


🎓 Eligibility

For Paper I (Classes I–V):
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed / 2-year D.Ed (Special Education).

For Paper II (Classes VI–VIII):
Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.El.Ed / D.El.Ed (as applicable).

Note: Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories as per Government norms.


🧾 Application Fee (Previous Session Reference)

📝 Exam Pattern

Paper I: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies
Paper II: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics & Science or Social Studies

  • Total Marks: 150 per paper

  • Duration: 2½ Hours

  • No Negative Marking


🏅 Qualifying Criteria

  • General Category: 60% and above

  • SC/ST/OBC/PH: 55% and above (as per CBSE guidelines)

  • Validity of Certificate: Lifetime (No expiry)


🌍 Language Options

CTET is conducted in 20 languages across various cities in India. Candidates can choose medium and language preferences while applying online.

  3. Fill in all required details carefully

  4. Upload photo and signature

  5. Pay the application fee online

  6. Download confirmation page and save for records
